All Kinds of Randomness!!

Yes I know I haven't blogged in a while And I apologize! A few things have happend since my trip to Crown College. I Took a trip to Colorado to visit Timberline again. This was strickly a college visit. We didn't fix things. Well except for Chuck who can't help but fix things. I still love it out there! Had a great time meeting some of the new students. We did everything that we would do if we were students. The plane trip was a blast. there was about 11 of us. On the way back we had a blast. Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures.

I went to my first Junior/Senior Prom! I went with Dillon Fenn. I had an amazing time. Everyone liked my dress! It was also a sad time, Because Prom usally means school is almost over which means the seniors are about to Graduate which is happening this sunday. This year's prom theam was " Let the good times Roll" It was Vegas. The Decorations were really cool! It was held at the Red Coach Inn. They sit up bleachers and Chairs and a red carptet. Family and Friends sit in the chair as we "kids" pull up in our cars and walk the red carpet. Yea you feel pretty special. I had a great time with friends! After Prom was really fun too! There was alot of activites and then there was a Hypnoitist. It was fun watching people get hypnotized.

I also saw the orthodontist, Yea I need braces. It sucks. After the braces Im done with the dentist lol. Everytime I go there is always bad news lol.

Youth Group is over with. Yes this is sad. No more wednesday night fun. ACORN is still going strong though. We Actully got booked for a wedding on May 23rd. WE are actully Leading Worship in Church May 17th. We are super pumped. Angie Mackee got all of us shirts which look really awesome! Clarinda Acadamy wants us to come play one sunday. And another chruch wants us to play for them to! We also are planning to make a CD of our songs. Its all very exciting!

My dad Has ordered my Plane ticket. I am leaving May 25th and I shall be back on July 2nd. I wanted to Come back for Jake and Randi's wedding, and VBS. PLease pray for safty for me, and Strength.

School has been good. Choir is always fun. But we found out our Awesome Teacher Mr. Eldridge is leaving after this year. Which is a bummer for most of us. He has accepted a Principal Job In Sydney Iowa. He said he will still give me voice lessons which is amazing.

Speaking of Voice Lessons I went to small group contest this year. I sang " My Lovely Cilia" and " Caro Mio Bin" ( Italian) I got a 2 which is amazing! Last year I got a 3 So I was pretty excited!

Josh Broke his arm! Yea my brother is going to be the bicentinal Man.! He was riding his bike and the chain fell of and he flipped of the handalbars, and broke his wrist, they had to put a metal plate in his arm. Yea it was pretty Narley. Oh my little Brother!

The Attic Is pretty much finished. So we can finally start moving things up there! :D

So thats pretty much everything!!! I'll start trying to be better about blogging!!!!!

Crown College!!! WOOT

So here I am in the library/Computer lab of Crown College!! Connie and Dave asked if any kids wanted to go to the winter preview at Crown College, and Brandon Updegrove and I were the only ones interested! I promise you the more I visit here the more I fall in love with it. I fell so at home. Its only day 2 and I almost know my way around the college. I just have troubles with class rooms. Brandon and I have pretty much stuck together here. We have met a few people. Winter preview gives kids the chance to expierence College life. You get to stay in a dorm, attend a class, walk around the school. Go to the bookstore.The works! There were about 70 kids here last night. Alot of them had to leave today. I stayed with Brenna Tillman. I felt fortunet because I know her. Where Brandon Had to stay with a complete stranger. His name Is Mark. He pretty awesome. So is his wife who is pregnant. The Crown Team took all the winter preview students to Pizza Ranch last night, which by the way is way better then Red Oaks! Oh and the coffee shop is pretty much amazing! Along with the chaple. The chaple is right in the middle of the building. and the the building is shaped like a cross. The cafetaria is HUGE! and there are alot of class rooms! They have practice rooms for piano and instrament players. So yea its amazing.I cant wait to go to school here!!!! Brandon and I went to a class Called New Testement History. In the class your bible is the text book. Apperantly the first 3 weeks of school you are to read the whole new testement. Today he was talking about Matthew Chapter 5, verse 3. He started with verse 3 all the way to verse 17. It was pretty cool, to hear the disscusions that were going on. I will be excited to see my family but Yet I will be really bummed to leave knowing I have one more year left of highschool. I can't wait to go to college here. I am very excited.........

Pain,Sadness, and other Randomness

So...I know I havn't written in a while and I apologize. Sometimes I get to busy, and sometimes, I just don't know what to write. So here I go.

I am sure that most of you that read my blog read my mom's. So that means you know we are moving. I'm excited yet I'm not. I'm going to miss our house very much. Especially my bedroom and my bathroom! I'm going to miss the coming over to Grandma's and Grandpa's house just to visit. I'm going to miss having my friends over, and being loud. Even though they said we can have friends over, its not going to be the same. I'm excited for my mom though. Cause I know she really wants to go back to school, and stay home with us kids so she can teach us. So thats all I really have to say about the house thing.



In December, my mother ( yes Im using Mother. I tend to use it when Im not happy about something!:)) Schedualed Jordan and I to go to the dentist. Ok first off I HATE the dentist. I hate the fact that they put things in my mouth, and so on and so forth. Now Jordan was pumped up! I mean it was like Christmas for her. She wants braces! Yea I wonder how long she will want them after they are put on??!?? :)So we get there, and just to top everything off it was my least favorited dentist. Dr. A and I just dont get along well I think. Hes not the nicest person in the world. Well anywho, I'm lucky number one, so I go in they do some X-Rays, he looks at my teeth, nd proceeds to tell me whats going on. about 5 or 6 years ago, I got a root Canal done. Yea that was a bunch of joy. Dr. A tells me that its not HEALING RIGHT! Are you serious!?!? You couldn't have told me a while ago? So he gives my Grandpa the number to the oral surgons.( Score..Not) Jordan goes in, Comes out and announces I GET BRACES!!! Yea shes pumped. She bugged mom for a week about when the ortho appt. was. So mom called the Oral surgons and they set me up for Tuesday January 27th. Yea I'm not so excited.

We get to Omaha, and find the place. We sign in, and the nurse takes my mom and I to the back. Mean while im clutching to my MP3 player bag. If they are going to do surgery, Im listeing to music..End of story. They take me into this room that doesnt look like a dentist office room...Looks like a place in the doctors. They have a heart monitor, and everything..So Yea im freaking out a little. The nurse comes in and my mom and I had talked about Putting me to sleep while this is getting done. In fact my mom was joking how she could pay them to put enough gas in me to let me sleep longer.The nurse is just taking the notes she needs then says So are we putting you to sleep today? I say umm Yea! She then proceeds to tell me That they use an IV! Not a gas mask! An IV! Ok I don't know about you guys but I dont like needles in my hands and arms. So then another nurse comes in tells me she will mostlikly put it in my arm. At this point, I dont see the point in surgery.....The Dr. Comes in. And he is a really nice guy! I was happy to have a nice Dr. He talks to my mom. As he was the nurse starts putting heart monitor stuff on me. She tells me she will be monotering my heart and IV and stuff. Yea If I wasn't freaked out before I was then! So I put on my MP3 player Say good-bye to mom cause she has to leave. Then the other nurse grabbed my hand and said she would hold it. yay! It was truly a comfort at that moment. I dont care how old I am I was gonna hold her hand! they even gave me one of the thoese oxyogen things that go in your nose...The one nurse put the IV in my arm and within a few minutes I was out. I woke up and I wasnt very coherent. I saw the DR. With a string going in and out of my mouth, then I went back out for a minute. and I woke back up and he was gone, To me it went fast. They took out the IV, and the heart monitor stuff. I shut off my MP3 player. And my mom came in. I couldnt talk very well due to the fact I had Gauz in my mouth, and my mouth was numb. They gave me my meds, and my restrictions and I left. The cool thing I remember, was my mom and I prayed before everything happend. I remember I went to sleep with Believe by building 429 playing and I can remember christian music playing in my ear the whole time. I dont remember the names of the songs but I know it was playing. I woke up to it too. It was truly amazing, and I knew God, was there comforting me. He was the Older Lady, my nurse who took my hand. Telling me It was gonna be ok. He was there the whole time comforting me.

So its Thursday. My face is still swollen a little ( joy..not) My mouth still hurts...Im still taking meds. I feel tierd alot thanks for the Vidicon. I thank my mom, Grandparents and Jo. My mom for caring, and being a mommy, to her girl who is in pain. My Grandparents, for letting me take over their bedroom during they day!!! To sleep, watch TV. and go on the computer, all in one room! To Jo: who has done alot for me. Going over home and getting things, bringing me water, napkins, jello, ect. I love you guys!!!!!!!!
